Teaching
| As
a teacher I like working with people. I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing
students get interested in a project and helping them to work through
the obstacles in the process of making art. I also like helping students
with time management, and feel this is an important skill as well as the
ability to create and complete a project.
This
year I started teaching Comic Book Illustration at The New York Public
Library after-school programs. I also teach art at The Boys and Girls
Club in Queens, and at Pratt Institute in Manhattan. I am continually
upgrading the courses and many of my students have come back to take
the course a second time. Please view this website for samples of my
work. Additional samples can be sent or E-mailed.
